The Tibetan Traditional herbal medicine Clinic was headed by one of the most renowned Tibetan Doctors in India. This department is equipped with all the required facilities for such a clinic and even patients from other Tibetan settlements visit it for treatment. This clinic is attended by an average of 1000 patients a month.

Before the establishment of present Tibetan Medicine clinic the committee entertains the facility of Traditional Herbal Medicine once a month. It was visited by a group of medical staff who are administered under the Tibetan Astro and Medical Institute, Dharamsala. Due to non-existence of separate clinic, this monthly event was held at a part of the Allopathic clinic. With the increase in influx of patients the need of a full-fledged Traditional Tibetan Medicine Clinic was realized.

The construction of this clinic was started in 2007 with financial assistance from well wishers and foreign sponsors. It was completed and inaugurated in the year 2008.

The Tibetan Traditional herbal medicine clinic was headed by Dr. Lobsang Choedar, one of the most renowned Tibetan traditional doctors in India. It is visited by even patients from other Tibetan settlements and Indians from different towns as well. This clinic provides free service to all the monks of Sera monastery which numbers more than 4500. Cupping and acupuncture are the other facilities of the clinic.
