Today SJHCC has a separate unit each for traditional Tibetan medicine with facility of acupuncture and modern Western medicine. The committee also has X-ray and, laboratory facilities apart from a dental clinic. 

The hospitals under the committee provide health services to all people irrespective of nationality, caste, creed, religion or sect. Regular health camps are held to promote awareness among the monastic community. We also provide service to the local Indians and lay Tibetans. For genuine and deserving patients even highly subsidized or free medical services are provided.
